villisca Advent Christian Church
We had a great summer. The men worked hard on the remodeling of our Ministry Center. It is being used for two Sunday School classes—the adults and the teenagers. In addition plans are in the works to have several FUN events there beginning on Saturday night, August 28 with a "Supper with the Pastor." For more information on that, see the entry below. Our Wednesday night Bible Study is live and we are currently studying in Psalms. Beginning September 8, the Bible Study group will also be meeting at the Ministry Center on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. The annual family outing to Twin Lakes Bible Camp is this weekend, August 20–22, and many families are signed up to go and enjoy a great outing before school starts next week. There's always lots to do up there for all ages and also the campfire sings and the praise team is there leading worship.
We feel God guiding us to be more aggressive in our plans for the rest of 2021 and be more constant in our outreach to get the gospel message out into the world around Villisca. Join with us in doing that whenever you can. And keep an eye on the events listed below so you can be there and be a part of what's happening and help our church grow and spread the gospel to Villisca, our area, and eventually to the world.
