Guess what time it is? It's Penny Crusade time. This is the 6 week time frame that we educate, pray for, and raise money for helping to fund our denomination's world mission work. This year we are engaging with a people group belonging to a tribe in the Serengeti wilderness called the Hadzabe tribe. These people are hearing the gospel for the first time. They believed and called on Jesus Christ for salvation. Our giving helps to fund the missionaries, preachers, resources and everything it takes to reach this group of people.

We believe the Lord has called us to reach the unreached. Paul's words to the church in Rome says " How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, " How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news?" Romans 10: 14-15

Join us between now and March 26th as we try to reach a big goal of sending $ 6,000 to this mission of Penny Crusade. We have a great start to our goal. Chili cook off and cake auction February 12th brought in $1462.90, while last week's collection on Sunday morning brought in $208.53. Join us Sunday mornings in church for the ongoing "competition" between Moses and Abraham, as each tries to get you to place your coins in their basket. You may also give a check made out to VACC. Just be sure to put Penny Crusade in the memo, so it gets to the right place. OR you can click the "give" button at the top of this page. Choose "Church Spring Giving" and fill in the blanks. Be sure to put "Penny Crusade (Moses Or Abraham) " in the "TO" line on the giving form so it will be directed correctly
